Prime location! Savor the ocean view at The Sandbox...a 2 bedroom/2 bath condo located near Fort Macon National Park. We can sleep 6 comfortably with the king master and queen/bunk bed 2nd bedroom. You will appreciate being just steps from the beach or appreciating one of the 2 pools at the well-maintained Southwinds community.

Southwinds is the ideal combination of pristine, relaxing beach and convenience to fun! You can soak up the sun, relax and relax OR drive just a few short mins. to cozy Morehead City and Beaufort. Both areas offer waterfront dining and cute stores to walk through if you want a break from the sun. In season you can savor live music at many local eateries as well!

The kids will appreciate the new Atlantic Beach recreation park, and the NC Aquarium is only 15 mins. from the complex. Take advantage of the trails to Ft. Macon or spend the day making memories building sandcastles on the wide beach just steps from your door. The pools are also a great way to cool off after a day in the sun. There are multiple outdoor showers for your convenience.

The community also offers numerous outdoor grilles and on-site security.
