Tips and Tricks to get the best rental experience:

Get the most from your rental budget:

  • To get the best value, try shifting your group's vacation to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer great weather, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic.
  • The earlier your group can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved early. Booking your rental home six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental home.
  • Some property management companies offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family.
  • Booking websites usually offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for more information.
  • Many management companies and vacation rental houses supply Beaufort, NC area travel guide magazines that include special offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Beaufort, NC area magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

How to pick the perfect rental in Indian Beach:

  • Begin by choosing your a vacation week and a budget.
  • Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration you need. Peaceful Ocean Club sound front condo with great view and easy walk to the beach has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is usually accessible online. If you don't see them listed, call the property management company before reserving your home. Note that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches.
  • If there's a particular Beaufort, NC attraction you crave, browse homes that are either close by, or those that cater to your desires.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before reserving a rental
  • If your group is bringing pets, you must book a pet-friendly property. Get details on breed, weight, and type requirements. Some hosts charge additional pet fees.

Know before you go:

  • Be sure you get the owner's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your .
  • Make a record of any issues with the property at check in, and immediately e-mail them to the host. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are beneficial if a dispute is filed.
  • Property managers are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You will increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are a terrific resource to find the best local beaches and restaurants.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you are away! Don't let crooks ruin your family vacation.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all personal belongings. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Please make sure to walk through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take video of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a fantastic stay? Most rental management companies make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property manager was great, they would love to hear it. If anything was amiss and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
