About this Property

Unique one bedroom home located on a peaceful street in the historic district of downtown Beaufort, one block from the waterfront. This home was constructed in 1908 and was thoroughly modernized and divided into two condos in 2004. Our unit is located in the back with the porch overlooking a delightfully landscaped, pleasantly decorated patio. This home is splendidly finished with heart pine floor all through and a new pine vaulted ceiling in the living room resulting in a warm nautical feel.
Since this is our home for 8 months of the year, the kitchen is thoroughly outfitted, including spices, condiments and other pantry staples which visitors are welcome to use. Unwind on the porch or dine on the patio and adore the sounds of our many feathered friends as you sip your favorite libation.
Guests are able to access our entire living space, with the exception of the second bedroom as this will be used as an owners' closet. You have full access to our enclosed backyard, which includes a gas grille. The outdoor shower is a delight on hot summer days after a day at the beach!
Although we will not be available in person, we are always available by phone or e-mail. We do not live in Beaufort during the summer months but will always be at the ready to take your call. We have amazing neighbors and friends close by to help with anything you might need during your stay.
Adore Beaufort's excellent sunsets as you walk the boardwalk. Frolicking dolphins and roaming wild horses can often be seen from Front Street, our boardwalk or the many waterfront drinking and dining establishments.

Neighboring Morehead City with it's many eateries and a museum called The History Place depicting life in our area for hundreds of years is worth a visit. The white sand beaches of Atlantic Beach are only mins. away. While there, the North Carolina Aquarium in Pine Knoll Shores should not be missed. On the east end of the beach lies the historic Fort Macon. For history buffs, it should be noted that the fort is widely known as the most lavish restored American Fort of its era.
