Rejuvenate yourself at the premier oceanfront bungalow in Atlantic Beach. Your stay at Sea Haven promises to add many marvelous memories to your holiday scrapbook!

Sea Haven is a enormous, five bedroom, three-bath, oceanfront, beach home that is located in one of the most superb locations on the beach. The home lies in a peaceful, calming neighborhood, yet still lies within walking distance of the Atlantic Beach Boardwalk to the west and a fishing pier to the east where a wide variety of activities and eateries available. The beach in front of the home is relatively peaceful, and you will often find yourself alone early in the morning. The unit is under new management, so please called Bluewater Realty in Atlantic Beach if you'd like more information on Sea Haven.

At 3 stories, this home is one of the biggest beach homes in the area, and offers a great value. The rate/description is for the upper two floors. The first floor is not rented or occupied, but by May 2021, will be offered only to visitors renting the upper two floors if they want additional space. This first floor unit is entirely self-sufficient, with a separate entrance, two bedrooms, 2 baths, a full kitchen, and laundry. This unit can only be added to the main renting...we can not rent it alone...we offer it as an option to the main unit because we know that not everybody needs 7 bedrooms. The summer rate to add the first floor is $1499/week (off season $1099 to $1299). The main home (upper two floors) is entered through stairs on the street side, or via the outdoor space stairs on the sea side. The 2nd floor has a entryway, kitchen, dining area, living room, and 2 baths. The 3rd floor has 3 bedrooms and 1 bath. Ours costs are substantially better than most, especially on a per person basis, as the home is owned by two Marine Corps officers who merely wish to offset the costs of ownership. The home can sleep a lot of people...there are 5 Queens beds, 1 King bed, and 2 twin beds (see photos). With the number of beds, the price per person is among the most striking you'll find for ANY sea front home, making Sea Haven one of the most gorgeous values on the beach. The top floor bedrooms rooms are exceptionally huge at about 36'x 14'. The east room is divided into two rooms; one for the parents overlooking the sea, and an adjoining room for the children. The children room is entered through the parents room...a charming feature for those families who want to keep a close eye on toddlers. See bed layout in the "Rooms & Spaces" tab. The bed layout is as follows:

Bedroom 1: 2nd floor, next to living room, oceanfront - 1 king (2 occupants).
Bedroom 2: 2nd floor, next to hallway leading to the 3rd floor - 1 queen (2 occupants).
Bedroom 3 (Parent's Room): 3rd floor on the left (east side), oceanfront - 1 queen (2 occupants).
Bedroom 4 (Kid's Room): 3rd floor on the left (east side), enter through Bedroom 3 - 1 queen & 1 twin (3 occupants).
Bedroom 5: 3rd floor, on the right (west side), oceanfront - 2 queens & 1 twin (5 occupants).

The main floor (2nd floor) bathroom lies off the entry on the main floor. New LG washer and dryers are located here. The second bathroom on this floor is located between the bedrooms for convenient access (Jack & Jill style, with the bathrooms entered through the bedrooms). The 3rd floor bathroom is also located between the bedrooms.

Both floors have independent thermostats and central heat/air units to optimize opulence. New flat screen TV's are installed as well.

The outdoor space is exceptionally generous at over 500 square feet, and has an attached shower shed (water is surface ground temperature). There is also a covered 400 square foot porch with two enormous picnic tables, which are great for inclement weather or for just getting out of the sun. The view is unmatched...Sea Haven faces due south on an east-west beach, so during certain times of the year, you can savor both a sunrise and a sunset from the same location (this is one of the few beach locations in the US where this occurs). From the steps of the outdoor space, the waves at high tide are only about 15 yards away.

Our management company offers a wide variety of services, and will give you with the choice holiday experience possible. Beach chairs and beach equipment are not kept at the home anymore (too many left on the beach) but are available for rent at businesses near the home. Due to the risk of hurricanes, family illness or other factors, renters are highly encouraged to buy holiday or travel insurance. We cannot make exceptions to our written cancellation policy.

Garbage Pickup: please put all garbage cans along the road Sunday nighttime for pickup Monday. There is no specific time, so pickup can occur early or late in the day.
Beginning Memorial Day (the last Monday in May): garbabe is picked up twice, on Monday and Thursday. On Labor Day, garbage pickup is only once a week on Monday.
Three garbage cans are available and are spray colored with a big "216" on them. Garbage cans must be placed along the road in order to be picked up. If a can is missing, please let us know...it might be sitting at the wrong home. The garbage can serial numbers are:
