The condo features a roomy living area and full kitchen, ideal for a fast meal before heading back to the sand and surf.

We drive in from Atlanta every year and adore the family-friendly, uncrowded ambiance—a exhilarating change from the packed beaches in Florida. Atlantic Beach is rich with history and appeal. It was once home to Blackbeard the Pirate, hosts a nationally recognized Blue Marlin fishing tournament, and offers cultural gems like Fort Macon State Park and close by museums.

If you’re looking for a calming, historic, and family-aligned beach vacation, this is it.

Tips and Tricks to get the best Atlantic Beach vacation property experience:

Get the most from your rental budget:

  • Summer is high season in the Beaufort, NC area. To get the best value, change your family's Beaufort, NC vacation week to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer warmer weather, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Beaufort, NC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Booking websites frequently offer renters an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.
  • Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Beaufort, NC area visitors guide magazines which will include special deals, either offered directly by local companies, or through a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find Beaufort, NC visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Narrow your Search:

  • Begin by selecting your vacation dates and a budget.
  • Note the number beds and the configuration your family requires. Fully Loaded 2-Bed Condo – July 20–27, 2025\nOpen to offers – let’s make a deal! has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Beaufort, NC vacation rental search.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is regularly accessible online. Otherwise, contact the property manager before reserving the rental. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds. You'll need to establish what is suitable for your family.
  • Looking for specific amenities? Most rental websites include search filters for amenities.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before booking.
  • If your family is bringing pets, filter your search for a rental that allows animals. Ask for details on breed, size, and type requirements. Note that some property owners require additional pet deposits and fees.

More considerations:

  • Add the property manager's phone number to your smartphone. Take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Note any damages to the rental at check in, and immediately e-mail them to the owner. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that are useful if a dispute arises.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, stereo or WIFI setup. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call prevents lots of difficulties.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome vacationers disrupting your peaceful home life. Practice the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and places you would have never otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Lock your rental property while you are gone! Don't let burglars spoil your family vacation.
  • Just prior to departing, take a walk-through to confirm you did not forget any personal items. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the property one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, remember to take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a great time? Most rental management companies make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your property and/or host was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was amiss and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
