When you stay here, you just might not leave the resort during your vacation. An abundance of onsite amenities and activities are enough to keep you and your kids busy during your stay. These include multiple swimming pools, sports courts, resort activities, miniature golf, and, of course, private beach access. This two-bedroom vacation condos is equipped with a cavernous living area and full kitchen, the ideal place to make a fast meal before you head back to the sand and surf. My family has been going here since 1979. We drive in from Atlanta and definitely appreciate the family friendly environment that is much less busy than the FL beaches. Atlantic Beach is one of the homes of Black Beard the Pirate, host of a national Blue Marlin fishing tournament, and has museums like Fort Macon. The history of this place is a must see.

Tips to get the best Beaufort, NC rental experience:

When to go & When to reserve a Beaufort, NC rental home:

  • The earlier you can book, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are booked early. Reserving your vacation rental up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your vacation home.
  • Reserving a rental home in the Spring or Fall is an excellent way to save on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable homes. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Beaufort, NC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Hosts sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Ask your property manager if rate reductions are available for your group.
  • Booking websites typically offer guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
  • Find a copy of your local Beaufort, NC visitors guide magazine upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great articles, visitor guide magazines have offers and deals for local accommodations, tours and attractions.

Use filters to search efficiently:

  • First and foremost, have your family decide on a vacation week and a max budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. fully loaded condo with lots of amenities- Watch humpback whales from the porch. has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is almost always available on booking pages. If not, email or call the property owner before reserving the rental. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull out couches in living rooms. You will need to determine what configuration is right for your group.
  • Do your family pets travel with you? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement! Extra fees or costs may be applied to your contract.
  • Are you visiting for a single event? Try a map search to find nearby rentals.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before reserving a rental.

Advice for a smooth stay:

  • Add the owner's phone number to your smartphone. Print and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, elevator or WIFI setup. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents many issues.
  • Keep the property locked while you're away! Don't let thieves ruin your vacation.
  • Make a record of any damages to the property during check in, and immediately e-mail them to the host. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are very helpful if a dispute is filed.
  • Be a good neighbor. Often times, nearby homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting noise limits and parking regulations reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can often help. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the rental to confirm you've collected all personal items. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a excellent stay? Most rental management companies make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your rental property and/or property manager was fantastic, they would love to hear it. If anything was defective and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
