Tricks and tips for getting the perfect Beaufort, NC rental experience:

Get the most from your spending budget:

  • In the Beaufort, NC area, The sooner you can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are reserved very early. Booking your rental property up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental property.
  • June, July, and August are high season in the Beaufort, NC area. Book your rental in Fall or Spring to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for additional information.
  • Find a copy of your local visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great information, visitor guides contain money saving offers on local tours, shops, and attractions.

How to choose and book the perfectrental:

  • Begin by selecting your a vacation week and a maximum budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the configuration you need. Walk to beaches from 2nd floor 2 bed 2 bath apt has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is regularly accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, email the host before you book the vacation property. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds in living rooms. You'll need to establish what configuration is right for your vacation.
  • If your family is bringing pets, you'll need to find a pet-friendly vacation rental. Make sure to ask for information on breed, size, and type restrictions. Often, property owners charge pet deposits and fees.
  • Is your group looking for specific amenities? Most websites include amenity lists and search filters.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before reserving a rental

More considerations:

  • Add the host's information to your phone. Print and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, television set or coffee maker. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call prevents lots of concerns.
  • Protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental while you are gone, just like you would at home.
  • Record any damages to the property during check in, and immediately e-mail them to the owner. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that are beneficial if damages are attributed to your stay.
  • Be respectful. Often, nearby homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can typically help. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all of your things. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental one final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property managers rely on excellent reviews to inspire future reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your feedback find their best vacation rental. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.
