Amos Mosquito’s Restaurant & Bar is the Atlantic Beach go-to for classic southern and coastal fare in a casual, beachy environment. Located on the soundside, across from the Oceana Pier, the restaurant is known for plenty of hearty and coastal dishes, a fun atmosphere, and solid waterfront views.
Named after a bad knock-knock joke, Amos Mosquito’s started as a family venture nearly two decades ago, and the expansive restaurant has been a Crystal Coast landmark ever since. The large menu features a wide range of salads and soups, kids’ dishes, entrees, and even sushi, which is often dictated by local catches and in-season flavors. Favorite dishes at Amos Mosquito’s include the lump crab cakes with roasted corn and scallions, the Jamaican Jerk roasted chicken, and the filet and lobster mac – which features a decadent side dish of homemade lobster macaroni and cheese. The desserts menu is equally appetizing, with unique items like a chocolate peanut butter ice cream pie, and tableside s’mores, and Happy Hour guests will have a fine time exploring the array of cocktails which can be enjoyed at the bar, or at a waterfront table.
Easy-going and conveniently located for beach-goers, Amos Mosquito’s Restaurant & Bar is a popular and filling destination for hungry Crystal Coast fans.
