Spend the day with Tuna-tic Charters and see what's biting in Hubert! With Captain Vincent at the helm, you'll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Bluefish, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Amberjack, Black Grouper, Bigeye Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, Wahoo, Spanish Mackerel, Vermilion Snapper, Red Snapper, and whatever else is biting.
You'll target your catch by light tackle fishing, trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
You'll be welcome aboard a 25' Center console that can carry up to 4 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, everything you need for a productive day on the water.
Rods and reels are not included, so ask the captain about bringing your own or renting some for an extra cost. Be sure to ask about bait and lures as well.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
Before coming aboard, you may need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
A few items to bring include sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. Time to make it happen, with Tuna-tic Charters!
