Dock House Restaurant

The Dock House Restaurant is arguably more famous for its location that its food. Situated in the very center of Waterfront Downtown Beaufort in an extensive, multi-story historical residence, this sprawling eatery features multiple indoor and outdoor locales to settle in, enjoy a sunset and a little live music, and watch the on-foot and maritime traffic slowly pass by.

The menu is a mix of all things Crystal Coast, and includes plenty of seafood standards including shrimp, fresh fish, crab cakes, and other grilled or fried favorites. There’s also a wide range of sandwiches and salads for dinner patrons, as well as appetizers and pub-style starters for the evening bar crowd. Breakfast is available as well, and a specials board outside announces new additions to the menu as well as special market catches that may be available for a limited time. The cuisine is hearty and can cater to all tastes, but the prime attraction is the incredible view. A full range of cocktails, beers and wines are also available, and live music is a common occurrence during the warm weather months.

A favorite destination for visitors who like to linger, Dock House Restaurant is a centrally located icon that’s a good fit for coastal appetites.
