Welcome to Sandbar Safari!
Offering premium charter fishing trips and eco tours in North Carolina covering Emerald Isle, Atlantic Beach, Swansboro, Morehead City, and Jacksonville.
Vacationers don’t have to venture too far to enjoy a fully-engaging fishing expedition or eco tour, thanks to the locally acclaimed Sandbar Safari.
Located on the edge of the water in the small community of Cape Carteret, this tour and fishing charter company is just a shell’s throw away from a world of adventures, including nearshore fishing trips, and coastal expeditions to some of the region’s many scenic barrier island shorelines.
Sandbar Safari's eco tours are especially kid-friendly, and can be customized to include a wide range of activities, including hunting for shark’s teeth and sand dollars, catching shrimp and digging for clams, learning to cast net, dolphin and birdwatching, and so much more. Able to explore the marshes, islands, and waterways throughout the Southern Outer Banks, these 6-person (or fewer) trips are engaging for groups of all interests.
Meanwhile, anglers can try their hand at reeling in mackerel, sheepshead, black drum, trout, flounder and more onboard the 22’ foot long Bay Rider that can comfortably accommodate up to five people, and which has all the gear, licenses, and bait and tackle anglers require to target those big catches.
From avid anglers to vacationing families, everyone can find an adventure to love through the accommodating Sandbar Safari.
Offshore fishing charters are also available on our 30-foot center console, "The Spirit". Capt. Rob specializes in trolling, bottom fishing, and jigging for everything from Mackerel, Cobia, Mahi, and Wahoo to Grouper, Amberjack, Snappers, and Sharks.
Gulf Stream Trips and Specialty Trips are available by request as well.
