Getting the best Beaufort, NC vacation home experience:

Find your perfect rental:

  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during Winter holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are high season in Atlantic Beach. Reserve your rental home in the Fall or Spring to enjoy beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Beaufort, NC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your family qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Booking websites typically offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Find a copy of your local visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great information, visitor guides have discounts for nearby tours, shops, and attractions.

Planning, picking, and booking a perfect Beaufort, NC rental:

  • Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. Getaway in the sun with updated interior, sunroom, W/D, & AC - close to beaches has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is regularly accessible on booking websites. If not, email or call the property manager before you reserve the rental. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds in living rooms.
  • Some rental properties allow pets, and some don't. Acceptable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask the host about your furry family members before booking.
  • If there's an individual Beaufort, NC beach you are crazy about, look for rentals that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are included before reserving a rental

Have a fantastic stay:

  • Put the host's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, stereo or WIFI setup. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent quite a few problems.
  • Lock your rental property while you're away! Don't let crooks ruin your trip.
  • Record any issues with the rental upon arrival, and immediately send them to the property manager. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that are very helpful if damages are attributed to your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful vacationers disrupting your home life. Apply the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and attractions you would have never otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all personal belongings. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the rental one final time and scan for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take photos and video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property owners rely on good feedback to drive more bookings. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.
