About this Property

****COVID 19 PRECAUTIONS***** First off I would like to thank all the impressive guest we've had over the last three years since purchasing this unit. Our new cleaning protocol is right after our guest checks out, our cleaning company fogs the entire interior of the home with a product called (VITAL OXIDE). A safe and very effective disinfectant. Fogging the home insures every surface is treated. The home is then professionally cleaned and all high touch areas,including the floors are treated with another disinfectant called (HUSKY 824). We also replaced all the bed pads, bed pillows, king and queen quilts, decorative pillows and the lower outdoor furnishings and cushions. This may be overkill and there are no guarantees but we are trying to make our home as safe as possible.
Lastly and most important, if you rent with us and your arrival date is nearing and you start feeling sick or may have been exposed to the virus. PLEASE call us! We will offer you a refund or reschedule your stay for a future date. This would be the most superb thing for your own health and safety and for any guest coming in after you. HELLO SUMMER! The island is back and open for work. 2021 is shaping up to be a great summer with the hope of things getting back to somewhat normal. With that being said, we invite you to view our home and hopefully make it your summer stay. Our home is in unreal location, set back from the street and surrounded by mature trees giving a private feel, but only a brief walk to the beach. The land mass here is not very wide, only 5 rows of homes from the beach to the main road and 1 row to the sound. That means there is no rush to get to the beach, sleep in; plenty time to find a great spot. The beach is enormous and most days the water has a glistening emerald glow. Also a new beach access was constructed in 2017 and located close to the home.This access held through the storm and looks as good as new.
Our home includes a cavernous and open reverse floor plan with ceilings vaulted eleven feet. The kitchen is roomy and thoroughly outfitted with everything needed to whip up a great meal, while watching the waves .
The main feature of the dining area is a handmade reclaimed wood table, that seats eight restfully, just a great spot for the family to gather and be together. After dinner hit the couches and watch the 55 inch TV. All the TV’s have HD cable and Wi-Fi is throughout the home. Better yet, grab a drink and step out onto the outdoor space and just relax, watch the waves and listen to that sea. Also on this level are a half bath and a generous pantry.
The 3 bedrooms are located on the first floor. We have a master with a king size bed, memory foam bed, attached bath, generous closet and a wall mounted 40 inch flat screen TV . This room has access to the first floor outdoor space. Second bedroom includes a queen size bed ,memory foam bed, huge closet and a wall mounted 32 inch flat screen TV. This room also has access to the first floor outdoor space. The third bedroom has 2 twin beds, a modest closet and a wall mounted 32 inch flat screen TV. All the bedrooms feature ceiling fans. The main bathroom is also on this level and has a tub/shower combo.
The main entry is on the ground level. As you enter the home you come into a laundry area/catch all, great place to drop all the beach gear. One flight up and you're on the bedroom level. Outside we have a sizable private outdoor shower with hot and cold water and a appealing seating area under the home. Also, we have a sizable picnic table and a gas grille, great for a speedy outdoor lunch. Anyone making a trip to the beach knows how valuable that packing space in the car is, so we have beach chairs and umbrellas for you to use. We have plenty of parking and all the exterior lighting is dusk to dawn, making it safer coming and going at nighttime. We are located roughly 3 miles from the center of town, close enough to bicycle and discover. We are renting Sunday to Sunday. This year we added towels and linens into the renting fee, if you don't need them, let us know and they will be removed before you rent.
