⭐️ GOLF CART POLICY ⭐️
** 2025 6 Passenger Golf Cart (street legal, up to 25 mph) is supplied with your stay. Appreciate driving the golf cart to the neighborhood private beach access, the sound side pier and water access, and many other local eateries, stores, and attractions.
— A signed Liability and Waiver Agreement is REQUIRED to have access to the golf cart for your stay. You must fill the form out BEFORE your day of check-in.
— You must be 25 years of age to operate the golf cart as well as sign a liability and waiver agreement, provide drivers license, and insurance information. This is REQUIRED.
— Only the individual(s) who sign the liability and waiver agreement and also provide drivers license and insurance information are eligible to operate the golf cart. No exceptions.
— There are two settings: “D” a standard drive setting that goes 15 mph, and “S” for ‘Street’ which goes up to 25 mph.
— Our golf cart has an NC license plate, so it is considered a low-speed car, and not a golf cart. YES, it can be driven on any road with speed limits 35 mph and under. YES, it also requires seatbelts and car seats and follows any other rules that the DMV requires of cars on the road, such as using blinkers and not driving on sidewalks. Please be mindful that there are stretches of Hwy 58 and Coast Guard Rd that are 45 mph and not 35 mph.
— Failure to adhere to the rules and obligations laid out in the Golf Cart Liability and Waiver Agreement, may result in termination of rental lease.
— $100 fee for missing golf cart key card. You MUST return the key to the safe and lock it prior to departure.

— Non-aggressive breeds only (Pit Bull, Doberman Pinscher, Rottweiler, and German Shepherd breeds are not allowed)
— Family Animals must be current on vaccines and flea meds.
— NO FAMILY PETS ACCEPTED ON FURNITURE!!
— Pets CANNOT BE LEFT UNSUPERVISED inside the home.
— Pets MUST BE CRATED when the pet owner is not present.
— Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet. Place all pet waste bags in the trash can outside.
— Guests will be held accountable for their pet, and any DAMAGES to the property will be charged to the guest.
— **Do NOT arrive without paying the pet fee. If you include your pet in your reservation, then the pet fee will be automatically supplied in your booking total, and you are good to go. If not, no worries. Just let me know, and I can send you the pet fee request after booking.

SERVICE ANIMALS & EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS
— A service animal and emotional support animal do not count as “pets” in regards to the number of pets allowed at the rental.
— If we discover that a guest has misrepresented a pet as a service animal, we reserve the right to seek financial restitution, report fraudulent claims to government authorities, and evict the guests without further notice. In the latter case, there will be no right to a refund for unused rent.
— Please reference our full policy at the end of the ‘House Rules’ in regards to disclosing your service animal and emotional support animal to the host.

NO SMOKING & NO VAPING
— Smoking is not allowed inside the home or on the property grounds.
— Violators will be asked to leave IMMEDIATELY, and a refund will not be issued.

VIDEO SECURITY CAMERAS
— There are audio/video cameras on the exterior of the property.
— There is a Ring audio/video doorbell camera located at the front door on the side of the property. It is angled straight out toward the right side of the property where it would pick up someone walking to the front door.
— There is an audio/video camera underneath the home in the back left corner. It is angled where it picks up the view of underneath the home, the driveway, the main outdoor stairs, and some of the front/side yard.

NO LARGE GROUP GATHERINGS
— Absolutely no huge group gatherings and NO PARTIES. Guests who break this rule will be asked to leave IMMEDIATELY, and a refund will not be issued.

QUIET HOURS
— 10:00 pm - 8:00 am

BOOKING REQUIREMENTS
— Must be 25 years to book
— The person renting must be staying onsite for duration of stay (cannot rent for someone else).

CANCELLATIONS & DATE CHANGES
— Please keep in mind that we do stand by the cancellation policy in our listing for cancellations and date change requests, and we do not make exceptions. This includes for family emergencies, weather, travel delays, etc (anything that is out of our control as a host).
— We strongly recommend getting travel insurance if you have concerns, as it is not expensive and provides you tranquility of mind.
