  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can usually help. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're out! Don't let crooks spoil your vacation.
  • When it's time to leave, complete a final walk-through to confirm you have not forget anything. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the rental one final time and scan for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, take pictures of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a fantastic vacation? Many rental management companies make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was great, they would love to hear about it. If anything was amiss and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
