Beaufort, NC rental booking tips:

When to visit Atlantic Beach & When to book:

  • Summer is the most expensive season in Atlantic Beach. To get the most suitable vacation home within budget, we highly recommend reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at Beaufort, NC restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Beaufort, NC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • In the Beaufort, NC area, The earlier you can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental homes are reserved very early. Booking your rental home up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Ask your property manager if discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Property management companies frequently offer customers an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
  • Look for your local Beaufort, NC area magazine upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitors guides have coupons for nearby shops and restaurants.

Use filters to search efficiently:

  • Select a group lead, select your dates, and select a max budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration your family needs. Upstairs portion of beautiful 2nd-row duplex with ocean view, central AC, & WiFi has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is commonly accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, reach out to the host before you book the vacation home. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds.
  • If there's a particular Beaufort, NC destination you simply love, browse homes that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. .
  • Are you bringing the family pet? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional pet fees or costs could be applied to your agreement.

Advice for a fantastic stay:

  • Take a copy of the host's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your . Store the manager's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Record any damages to the property during check in, and immediately e-mail them to the property manager. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be useful if a dispute is filed.
  • Property managers are great sources of help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
  • Be respectful of your neighbors. Often, surrounding homes are filled by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Protect the property owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up when you are gone, just like you would at home.
  • Double-check the rental property to confirm that you've packed all belongings at check-out. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the rental one final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the host isn't available, remember to take photographs of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did you have a fantastic stay? Most rental home management companies make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your property and/or property management company was terrific, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was inoperable and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
