Strategies to get the optimal Beaufort, NC vacation property experience:

Finding the best value:

  • Summer is high season in Atlantic Beach. To get the largest rental within your budget, we suggest booking in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at popular Beaufort, NC attractions and restaurants.
  • Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your vacationing group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Booking websites often offer customers an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for additional information.
  • Look for your local visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great information, travel guide magazines have discounts for nearby attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

  • Lock your rental home while you are away. Keep your property safe!

  • Please make sure to walk through the property one final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave feedback! Property owners rely on good feedback to propel future reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will appreciate that you share your feedback and help them have the best future vacation.
