Come spend some time at beautiful Atlantic Beach. Stay a week or just a weekend; either way you won't be disappointed. Atlantic Beach offers a relaxing family-friendly ambiance but still offers plenty to do, such as a visit to Fort Macon, browsing local stores, dining out, movies, fishing, boating, or just hanging by the pool. There is also an aquarium less than 10 mins. away and there are striking neighboring towns like Morehead City and Beaufort that are great to walkabout, exploring the stores and trying out new eateries. If you want a little adventure, there are boat tours and day trips to close by islands where you can go shelling, see wild horses or just spend the day calming.

The condo is located at Bogue Shores Condominiums. Bogue Shores is a modest two-story building that sits on the Bogue Sound and is right across the street from the beach. There is a sizable pool and separately enclosed infant pool on the property, as well as grilles, a gazebo, a fishing dock and boat launch ramp. There is also a pathway with a pedestrian crosswalk that takes you directly from the property across the street to the beach.

The condo was just refreshed from top to bottom and is very clean. We take very good care of it and hope that you will too. The condo is one room, like a hotel room, with a bathroom and full kitchenette. There are two queen beds. Ideally 2-3 people would fit most comfortably, but 4 is the max.. The bathroom is modest and has a standup shower only. The kitchenette has a full size refrigerator, electric stovetop (no oven), microwave, toaster oven, Keurig, dishes, pots, pans, silverware, etc. There is a huge flat-screen TV with cable and wifi available for your use. With linens and towels being supplied for you, and the condo being equipped with essentially everything you need, we make packing and planning very painless on you! Checking out is also a breeze! For the most part, all you have to do is pack up your stuff and head out! Leave the cleaning to us!

Tips and Tricks to get the perfect Atlantic Beach vacation rental experience:

How to get the best rental home value:

  • Reserving a rental home in the Fall or Spring is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Beaufort, NC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Property management companies usually offer renters an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for details.
  • Many rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Beaufort, NC area visitor guide magazines which often include coupons, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Beaufort, NC visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

How to select the best vacation rental in Atlantic Beach:

  • Choose a designated group leader, choose your vacation dates, and choose a max budget.
  • Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. Clean Quaint Bogue Shores Unit has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is normally available on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, call the host before booking the property. Note that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to work out which bed configuration is best for your trip.
  • Visiting for a single attraction? Use a map search to locate nearby rentals.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Make certain to ask about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your agreement! Additional fees or charges applied to your invoice.

More considerations for your visit:

  • Store the owner's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Upon arrival, note any damages to the rental property and immediately alert the host. Keep records of all coorespondence.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, television set or WIFI setup. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents quite a few concerns.
  • Be respectful. Often times, surrounding homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking rules reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Lock your rental while you are out and about. Protect your property!
  • Re-check every room of the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all of your belongings at check-out. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the manager is not available, ensure that you take photographs of the rental to record its condition.
  • Leave feedback! Property managers rely on excellent reviews to drive more bookings. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to solve it.
