Seaborne on Emerald Isle is your chance to indulge in a luxury ‘Beach Retreat’ experience, complete with a striking vintage surfing theme (professionally decorated!) and every possible amenities (freshly refreshed in 2016 and 2024!). No details have been overlooked. You are only a 2 min walk from a peaceful, charming beach, have your own golf cart and bicycles, and… you also have your own secluded backyard getaway, complete with a brand new pool and outdoor spa – photos coming in late April 2024!

Welcome to Seaborne - our luxury 4 bedroom/4 bath home, 900 feet from the Atlantic on North Carolina’s Crystal Coast! We have tried to think of every detail to make your stay as calming, joyful, and memorable as humanly possible! From our beautiful gourmet kitchen with its high-end appliances to our brand new backyard getaway, we have sought at every turn to make your stay something special.

MAIN FLOORING LIVING AREA ---

As you enter the light-filled main floor, you’re greeted with a outstanding open floor plan. The designer Living Room, embellished in coastal pastels and with an intimate gas fireplace, opens to a gourmet Kitchen and a formal Dining Room that hits all the right ‘Beach Retreat’ notes with its driftwood décor.

Off the Living Room, there’s a gracious front porch, a great place for a coffee after some early morning surfing!

The Dining Room leads out to a comfortable deck that overlooks the new 14’x30’ Pool and huge Outdoor Spa. The Living Room itself extends to a phenomenal Kitchen with a giant walk-in Pantry/Laundry combo and the ideal Coffee Station/Cocktail Bar! The Pantry is entirely outfitted with every known kitchen appliance, plus all the pet perks your dog could want.

The Kitchen itself features Kitchen Aid and Fisher Paykel, along with a chic gas range, a wine refrigerator and more, so every meal here, big or modest, will feel like gourmet magazine come to life!

The Bar, whether for coffees or drinks, is ideally supplied with plenty of bar tools, glasses and all the ways to brew the ideal cup of 4 J’s (our local favorite) coffee! And, there’s split zone surround sound in the living, dining and kitchen areas to ensure a great ambiance whether you’re entertaining or just chillin’ with a margarita and some classic Beach Boys tunes.

BEDROOMS AND BATHS ---

Off the main living area, you’ll find the ‘Ocean Sunset’ Queen Room and the drama of its elegant turquoise French Doors, a designated Full Bathroom with separate sink and shower areas, and our ‘Pastel Skies’ King Room – that opens onto the deck and will soon have direct Pool access! Note: the main floor shower is en-suite to this bedroom.

Across from Kitchen, you’ll find the ‘Lifeguard Station’ Master Suite with its own luxury Master Bath, humongous walk-in closet and a stunningly roomy King bedroom. This bedroom opens onto the front porch and 2 beautiful Adirondack chairs – a magnificent place to start or end each day.

Up the stairs, you’ll find an additional Bunk Room, ideal for the young and young at heart, and which - with 4 full bunk beds - can sleep up to 8! It has its own enchanting Full Bath, vistas of the treetops and additional space for games, TV watching or just hanging out in the cozy beanbags.

Note: Every bedroom has a intelligent ROKU TV, bedside chargers for your electronics and enchanting, newly laundered linens (all bed lines are washed upon every turn)!

DOWNSTAIRS LIVING AREA ---

Next, head downstairs for what makes Seaborne really special. First, there’s a chic mudroom that leads directly to the Carport. This is our main entry / exit point - great for your daily coming and going.

Off that is the ultimate Game Room, starting with a luxury Infinity Game Table, a big TV with fun LED lighting, and hexagon ottomans – so everybody can pull one up and join in! You’ll also find a collection of kids’s books in the cabinet.

The Carport has its own freshly added Half Bath and huge Outdoor Shower, so it’s painless to come in off the beach or step out of the pool without having to head upstairs. There’s also plenty of gear, from beach chairs to soft top surfboards, so you can load up the golf cart with your group to catch some waves or just sink your toes into the sand!

Seaborne definitely has something for everybody, especially bicycles - the locals’ favorite means of transportation, so you too can appreciate all the bicycle paths that start just off our cul-de-sac and ride to town or take in a sunset. If you’re the stay-at-home type, there’s a big hammock around the corner with your name on it!

The spot where you can really make some impressive memories though is the amazing screened-in Outdoor Kitchen off the Carport. There’s a dining table for 8, the ideal lounge-y sectional with its own Intelligent ROKU TV, and an countless stainless-steel counter with a prep sink and an accompanying giant freezer chest for cold drinks - or - your catch of the day!

Off the Outdoor Kitchen, there’s a Wilmington Grille, along with a firepit seating area for those nights where nothing will do but some smores and stories! This entire entertainment area leads out to the new Pool and Outdoor Spa and the secluded backyard – giving the beach some serious competition!

OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE---

RENTAL AGREEMENT: Upon booking, you will receive a rental agreement to review within 24 hours. Once this agreement is electronically signed, your booking will be finalized.

PARKING: Parking is supplied for 2 cars side-by-side at the end of our driveway. There is also space for one modest car / sedan under the home but height is very LIMITED. The Carport accommodates one sedan or coupe style car only. No parking is allowed on the cul-de-sac.

FAMILY PETS: Up to two housebroken dogs, each weighing 60lb or less, are welcome at Seaborne. You will be required to disclose the breed, age and weight of each dog and to clean up after your family pets (i.e., picking up waste from property grounds). Other ‘common sense’ home rules will be shared in our rental agreement (e.g. not allowed on furnishings, in pool/spa, etc.). Additional pet costs apply.

GOLF CART: There is a 4-seater golf cart included in your rental at no additional charge. You must follow the Town of Emerald Isle’s rules and regulations at all times when operating the golf cart.

BICYCLES: Access to 4 Jamis Taxi beach cruiser bicycles is supplied in your rental at no additional charge. There are two ‘his and her’ adult bicycles and two kids’s’ bicycles – ideal for 1 elementary age kid and 1 middle school age kid.

Located in Emerald Isle, NEW Luxe Oceanside Beach Retreat wHeated Pool, Spa, Golf Cart, 2min Walk 2 Beach is near the beach. Emerald Isle Adventures and The Sweet Spot are local attractions and those in the mood for shopping can visit Emerald Plantation and Beach Wheels Bike Rental. Traveling with kids? Consider Flatwaters Paddling and Emerald Forest Golf. Kayaking, scuba diving, and motor boating offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling nearby.

Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Beaufort, NC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • The earlier you can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental properties are booked very early. Booking your vacation rental six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
  • Property management companies sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your family before you book.

  • Just prior to departing, complete a walk-through to make sure you did not forget anything. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental one final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager is not available, take photographs of the rental to record its condition.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property managers rely on good ratings to drive more bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to solve it.
