Getting the best Atlantic Beach vacation rental experience:

Sticking to your rental budget:

  • Summertime is the most expensive season along the coast of NC. To find the best value, consider shifting your family's Beaufort, NC vacation week to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer great weather, , and reduced traffic.
  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer vacation rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Property management companies typically offer customers an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.
  • Find a copy of your local Beaufort, NC visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local information, visitors guides have discounts for nearby shops and restaurants.

Use filters to search efficiently:

  • Select a group lead, select your dates, and select a maximum budget.
  • Determine how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. Pet friendly cottage steps from the beach has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is regularly accessible online. If not, email or call the property manager before booking the rental. Note that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which usually includes pull out couches in living rooms. You'll need to determine which bed configuration is best for your vacation family.
  • If there's a particular Beaufort, NC beach you simply love, look for homes that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before booking.
  • If your family is traveling with pets, you'll need to search for a property that allows animals. Request details on breed, size, and type requirements. Note that some property owners charge additional pet fees.

Tips to have a terrific stay:

  • Take a copy of the owner's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental.
  • To make certain damages are not attributed to your family's visit, inspect the rental for any problem areas during check in. Get in touch with the property manager immediately to document any issues. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Property managers are great sources of help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor. Frequently, nearby homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking policies is the right thing to do.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Lock your rental home while you are out. Protect your property!
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the rental to make sure you've collected everything. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your group have a great stay? Many rental websites make it easy for customers to provide comments. If your rental and/or host was fantastic, they would love to hear it. If anything was wrong and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
