How to book the best Beaufort, NC vacation rental experience:

When to go & When to reserve a rental home:

  • In the Beaufort, NC area, The earlier your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are booked very early. Reserving your vacation home 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your rental.
  • Summer time is high season in the Beaufort, NC area. Booking your Beaufort, NC vacation rental in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable properties. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Beaufort, NC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer renters an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Look for your local Beaufort, NC area magazine upon checking in. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, travel guides contain coupons for local shops and restaurants.

Choosing the perfect rental in the Beaufort, NC area:

  • First and foremost, have your group decide on vacation dates and a spending budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group needs. Pine Knoll Townes 41: Oceanfront 2BR, 1BA Townhome with Community Pool has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is commonly available on booking websites. If not, reach out to the host before booking the vacation home. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds.
  • Do your family pets travel with you? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Pet fees or costs applied to your contract.
  • If there's an individual Beaufort, NC attraction you long to visit, browse homes that are either nearby, or those that cater to your desires.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. .

More considerations for your visit:

  • Review arrival and departure procedures before traveling. Add a note with the instructions to your smartphone, and take a printed copy.
  • Hosts are there to help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
  • Lock your rental while you are out and about. Protect the owner's property and your things!
  • To make sure no damages are linked to your family's stay, record any problem areas upon check in. Contact the host immediately to document any damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Often, adjacent homes are filled by local residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can typically help. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • At departure, take a final walk-through to make sure you did not forget anything. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your group have a fantastic time? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your property and/or property management company was wonderful, they would love to hear about it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
