- June, July, and August are high season in the Beaufort, NC area. Reserve your Beaufort, NC vacation home in Fall or Spring months to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.

- Property managers typically offer customers an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.
- Many rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Beaufort, NC area travel guide magazines which often include special offers, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a partnership between the property management company and the business itself. - When it's time to leave, take a walk-through to confirm you didn't leave anything behind. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Inspect the rental a final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, take photographs of the property to record its condition at check-out.
