Getting the best rental home experience:

Find your perfect rental:

  • The earlier your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are booked very early. Booking your rental home up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your rental home.
  • Summer months are high season in Emerald Isle. Book your rental in Spring or Fall to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Beaufort, NC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Some owners offer promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Check with your property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your family.
  • Property managers often offer guests an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Beaufort, NC area visitors guide magazines which include coupons, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Finding the perfect rental home in the Beaufort, NC area:

  • Choose a group leader, select your vacation week, and choose a spending budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration you need. 5 BR OCEANFRONT Duplex with gorgeous views! has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is usually available on booking websites. Otherwise, call the host before booking your rental. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds in living rooms.
  • Some properties allow pets, and others do not. Acceptable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional charges may apply. Ask the property manager about your furry family members before booking.
  • Are you looking for specific amenities? Most websites include search filters for amenities. Use these filters to your advantage to find the perfect rental home.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. .

More tips for your visit:

  • Add the owner's phone number to your phone. Print and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, intercom or thermostat. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent quite a few problems.
  • Lock your rental property while you are out! Don't let burglars ruin your trip.
  • Note any issues with the property during check in, and immediately contact the host. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are beneficial if damages are attributed to your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable vacationers bothering your home life. Practice the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and places you would have never otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Double-check every room of the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all belongings at departure. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did you have a terrific vacation? Many rental management companies make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your rental property and/or property manager was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was defective and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
