About this Property

Our complex has been renovated with all new roofs, new rails, and new awe-inspiring decks!! We were a PREMIERE PARTNER on Vacation Rental By Owner (for those with the best records of reviews & hospitality)- when hurricane Florence hit us, we had to cancel reservations due to the devastation, Vacation Rental By Owner actually punished many of us and took away many owners badges for this award- very unfair! We were told it would come back quickly- we at SEAS THE DAY pride ourselves on including the most magnificant unit for you! The other side of our complex still has some ongoing construction happening as of May 2020. Our costs are much lower than usual to compensate for this during the summer of 2020-
Our unit will be sanitized well with hospital grade disinfectant (One that does eliminate sars cov2 viruses!) for every reservation. We CARE deeply for our renters, and we want you to feel casual that every surface will be impeccably cleaned for you- AB accepts units after May 8, 2020.
Don’t spend hundreds of dollars more in costs on realtor managed units! You never know the condition of beds, couches, appliances, etc. Everything in our unit is new & modern! Want tidy? This is the unit to adore your holiday!

Read all the positive reviews on our appealingly refreshed 2BD, 1.5BA condo on 2nd floor (no elevator, but 2nd floor doesn’t have an overload of steps)- you will have a great sea view and wave sounds from this unit- new wood floors, Corian® counters, stainless appliances, peaceful furnishings, NEW comfortable beds, flat screen TVs in all rooms, and new tiled shower and stone vanity in main bathroom! Master BD has a new (4/2018) memory foam/ cool gel bed on the giant king bed with plush linens- not stiff sheets and blankets (also with total hypoallergenic sleeve encasing entire bed- prevents dust mites & bed bugs) and 1/2 BA-
2nd BD has a new (5/2017) memory foam queen size bed (with total hypoallergenic sleeve encasing entire bed) and a new (4/2018) memory foam/cool gel twin bed. The complex has 2 extraordinary pools, one of which is right outdoor our front door and down the steps! Another min. and you are at the beach walkway to go oceanside! Many amenities of home here to give you a appealing beach trip! We have tried to put things in our unit that we appreciated when we were renting every year! Kitchen is outfitted well enough to be able to prepare meals with EASE-new microwave, toaster, blender, 10 cup coffeemaker, & many preparing items/ silverware are in the unit. You will feel right at home here! Exceptionally CLEAN and modern unit!!
SUPER FAST WIFI is available for most seasons-we pay additional for streaming level WIFI- need netflix fast speeds? We have it!!
Price INCLUDES linens (quality sheets, blankets, bath towels, etc.) for ALL time periods. Paper products and soaps are not guaranteed- washer & dryer on premises only! Not in unit; the complex offers one complimentary dryer.
NO dogs and cats please- as owner is asthmatic & highly allergic! Forfeiture of monies will occur if found to be breaking this rule!
Unit will welcome 2 well behaved children max.
Note on cancellations: 60 days is REQUIRED to receive any refund!! Mandatory evacuations called by local officials is the ONLY exception to this rule, as that is not a renters fault. ALL renters have the option to buy cancellation insurance! If you choose NOT to, that is your prerogative, but, it wont be the owner's loss if something occurs and you need to cancel after that 60 day window closes. IF there is enough time, I will surely try to get NEW renters for the dates you cancelled-
if I re- rent, I will refund your money minus the costs Vacation Rental By Owner takes from me.

Long term units welcome from October- March-costs are reduced up to 60% for these. You can’t beat an sea view for roughly $40 nightly. A higher cleaning fee is all we raise-
inquire with owner if you would like a 30-90 day rental and what that entails-

Tips to Save Money on your Rental

  • Find the tourism bureau where you want to travel. Many official tourism bureaus will send tourism guides with promotions for rental properties, dining and tours. Be on the lookout for these catalogs and discount books, since this allows vacation goers to experience the same terrific activities with a often substantial discounted.
  • Wish to stay away from the crowds? The off-peak seasons frequently offer phenomenal rates on weekly rentals.
  • Are you a armed forces veteran? Many property management companies offer discounted prices to veterans and active-duty servicemembers. Make sure to confirm with property owner to see if your vacationing gang qualifies for a markdown.
  • Some rentals are basically designed to serve specific customers, whether it's soundside rentals with weekly fishing pier passes, city-center condos with close access to night life or waterfront homes that feature private boat launching areas. Make sure to prioritize your proximity to the adventures and landmarks you are most looking forward to.
  • Rental companies and individual rental home owners often offer their guests the option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the basic rental rate, provides travellers reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed as a result of personal medical emergencies or hurricanes, in addition to ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, like an unanticipated motel stay or extra gasoline. Trip insurance can be a bank account-saver if the unforseen occurs .

How to Book a Rental Home

You might be surprised to discover how many rentals are available at your destination. With such a big selection, guests are certain to come across a vacation home that fits their wishes and budget.

Rental homes are usually owner operated or managed by property management companies. Property owners typically select management companies to facilitate online advertising, cleaning and regular maintenance.

Here are some tips and suggestions to help you understand the rental search and booking process.

Searching for and reserving the perfect rental property:

Before you start to book " SEAS THE DAY at this beautifully updated condo with great view", review our short checklist of factors to consider.

The Earlier, The Better

Beaufort, NC rental homes start booking very early. Reserving your rental 6-12 months before your travel dates is usually recommended, whenever possible. Many households decide to begin their search during Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year gatherings.

Find your Area and Choose Dates

Begin by deciding which particular area of Beaufort, NC you'd like to browse, and the approximate travel dates.

Bedrooms and Bed Sizes Matter

Confirm who is going, and how many/what particular bedroom arrangement you will need. Remember that many rental homes advertise maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds in the living room. It is important to figure out what is most appropriate for the party. Most rental home listings will summarize each of the unit's specific bedrooms and beds.

Make a Spending Limit

Many vacation homes are marketed with a price range. Confirm the rate for your selected week. It may be at the high end of the range. If multiple individuals or family members are sharing the cost, check that each party knows their responsibilities and has approved a maximum they are prepared to contribute. A single individual in your group needs to be in charge of collecting repayments and agreeing to responsibility for the whole rental payment at time of booking.

Its All About Amenities

What home features is your family interested in? Do you primarily desire a vacation rental with a pool, spa tub or volleyball court? Will the property need to be beachfront, the downtown area, or near restaurants? Are sheets included with the rental, or do you need to take your own? Make a list of prioritized "necessities and wishes" from your party to help narrow your search to the perfect property.

Accessability

Do individual people in your party have special needs? Be sure to remember and ask about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment requirements..

What About Furry Family Members?

Remember to include your furrry friends. While quite a few vacation homes permit animals, guidelines and fees fluctuate per property. Type of pet, size and breeds could be limited. Be sure you study descriptions and contracts carefully. Additional charges may apply when pets are added.

Where to Search

Several websites exist to match clients with rental owners.. Together with Homeaway, VRBO and Tripadvisor, we suggest searching Google for "Beaufort, NC local rental homes" for local property management companies. Local vacation rental management companies take pride in a top-quality rental experience.

Negotiate the Price

When you've identified the rentalhome of your dreams, double check to make sure your trip dates are available.

While not true for all rental properties, many rental owners and property managers will negotiate rates. If they are unwilling to budge on a highly-desirable trip, try getting an additional night. Your easiest chance for a reduced rate is changing to a less desirable week.

Study the Entire Contract

Find out which of the following is included in your quoted rate:

  • Utility bills
  • WIFI Access
  • Telephone service
  • Pool and hot tub heating
  • Pay Per View Movies
  • Daily Cleaning (If Available)
  • Trash Pickup (and which day?)
  • Maintenance (get a phone number)
  • Check in & Check Out Key Exchange
  • Parking requirements

In addition to the standard price, travelers will need to pay state taxes when renting " SEAS THE DAY at this beautifully updated condo with great view", in addition to various other additional fees which might be mandatory based upon their situation, including a dog charge, earlier check-in or later check-out fee, or a pool heating fee for private pool usage during the fall or spring months.

Cancellations Happen

Cancellation policies are different with each rental. Rental home management companies and home owners typically offer their guests the option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which typically costs between 1% - 5% of the base rental home cost, can provide vacationers with reimbursement of their vacation costs (and subsequent rental costs) for any nights missed resulting from personal medical emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as a unexpected hotel stay or extra gas.

Reserve your Rental Property

When everything looks right, it's finally time to sign on the dotted line. Bear in mind that most rental contracts will require a significant rental deposit and/or security deposit to cover the home owner.

Know Who to Call

Make sure to get the property manager's contact phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental property. We recommend storing the contact's information in your smart phone and wallet.

Good luck on reserving your vacation rental! You're on your way to a fantastic vacation!

During your Stay

  • Photograph at your arrival. Record the condition of the rental unit immediately upon arrival. If you find damage, or if fixes are required contact the home manager immediately. This may prevent conflicts during check out.
  • You could need guidance for a fireplace, TV or spa tub. Contact your home manager. They are there to help. A phone call can save hours of hassle.
  • Remember to be a good neighbor. Locals will probably be as friendly to you as you are considerate of them. Remember the golden rule and treat others the same way you'd like to be treated by visitors next to your home.
  • Ask a local. Local people are a good source of tips. Who better to ask where to get the best chicken wings, have a great date night, or the best areas for wildlife?
  • Enjoy your stay! Be sure to protect the owner (and your things!) by keeping the property secured when you are away, just like you would at home.

Leaving Paradise

  • Check to make sure you've packed everything. Inspect drawers, bath cabinets and wardrobes.
  • As soon as your things are all out, begin a walk-through of the property to make sure no property damage occurred during your remain. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever possible (this may not be possible).. If the property owner is not available, be sure to take photos of the property to record its condition.
  • How would you rate your experience? Many rental web sites seek testimonials after your stay . Property owners and rental managers will thank you for positive ratings. If anything went wrong, we suggest being pleasant but completely honest regarding your experience. Top property owners and managers will work hard to correct the problem.

Iterate

Hold a meeting with the people in your group. Does everybody want to go back? We hope this guide helped you find a fantastic vacation home. If not, you have acquired valuable rental search experience that can help with the next search.
