Finding the best Atlantic Beach vacation property experience:

When to book & When to go:

  • In the Beaufort, NC area, The sooner your group can book, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are booked early. Booking your vacation property up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
  • Book your Beaufort, NC rental in the Spring or Fall to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your family qualifies for a special rate.
  • Booking websites frequently offer customers an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for additional information.
  • Often, rental management companies supply Beaufort, NC area visitors guide magazines which often include special offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Beaufort, NC visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Narrow your rental Search:

  • Select a group leader, choose your vacation week, and choose a spending budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration your family needs. Newly Renovated, Waterfront, Poolside, Ground-Floor, King Bed & WiFi has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Beaufort, NC rentals search.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is commonly available on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, email the host before you reserve the property. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull out couches in living rooms. You will need to establish what configuration is best for your vacation group.
  • Traveling with pets? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask the property manager before booking, and study your agreement! Pet fees or costs might be applied to your agreement.

  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. .

Considerations for your stay:

  • Add the owner's contact info to your phone. Print and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, television set or WIFI setup. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents many issues.
  • Protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental while you are away, just like you would at home.
  • To make sure no damages are linked to your family's stay, make a record of any problem areas upon your arrival. message the rental manager right away to report your findings. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant visitors disrupting your peaceful home life. Employ the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and places you would have never otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • On check-out day, take a final walk-through to make sure you have not leave anything behind. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your group have a excellent time? Most rental management companies make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property manager was great, they would love to hear it. If anything was defective and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
