About this Property

Is there anything better than a peaceful sunrise on an oceanfront balcony and a day of recreation stretching out ahead of you, as wide and empty as the beach itself? Definitely not. But the Atlantic sunrises are just one reason to appreciate Rolling Waves, our 3-bedroom oceanfront Indian Beach condo on North Carolina's glorious Crystal Coast.

Other reasons include:

It's family-friendly! Colorful and fun inside, the condo also has beach gear like sand toys for the littlest visitors, body boards for the teens and tweens (they'll appreciate the WiFi, too), and beach chairs for you and that novel you've been waiting to read.

Bedrooms include a master suite with king bed and en-suite bath, a 2nd bedroom with a twin-over-full bunkbed, and a 3rd bedroom with a queen bed (these two bedrooms share a bath). Ideal for parents, grandparents and kiddos on a hideaway together. It's also friend-friendly—great for two couples or girls weekends and golf outings.

The vistas! So good they deserve a second mention. Not only do you get the oceanfront vantage point of the Atlantic from the balcony and living area, you also have a view of the Bogue Inlet Sound from the master bedroom. Head to the sound side of the complex and have a drink with fellow visitors as you watch the sun sink into the Inlet!

The kitchen is set up for real preparing. With stainless appliances (including double ovens and a drink cooler to complimentary up refrigerator space), and well-supplied cabinets, you can conveniently prep meals for the group. But no judgement if you prefer not to prepare on holiday. We're just mins. from some delicious seafood eateries, and the kitchen is equally great for heating up leftovers. :)

Our magnificant condo resort, The Sea Club (one of the top-reviewed in North Carolina). An elevator whisks you to our second-floor, 1150-square-foot condo. Other amenities include a exercise center, boardwalk access to the beach, and 2 heated, outdoor swimming pools that are open year-round.

We're a real family who owns, manages, and loves this condo, not a generous unit management company. We remember your name and care about your good time on our favorite beach. Ask us anything!

Accessability

Grandpa and Grandma will thank you for not reserving a stairs-only condominium on the Third floor. If wheel chair entry, elevators, pool lifts or other special devices are required, factor that into your search. The majority of rental home postings include a list of amenities.

Re-read the description to make certain that the vacation rental has everything you need. If lacking, the vacation rental management company might know of comparable homes that fit your style and budget..

Although not true for all rental properties, many rental owners and property managers will make a deal on rates. If the rate isn't negotiable, the number of nights may be. This is more effective through the off-season when many vacation rentals sit empty.

If there is a dispute about legal liability later, having the documented problems and contact attempts should be very helpful.
  • You may need instructions for a fireplace, TV or spa. Call your property manager. They are there to help. A phone call can save several hours of difficulties.
  • Remember to be a good next-door neighbor. More often than not, adjacent homes are filled by permanent locals. Remember the golden rule and treat others the same way you'd like to be treated by vacationers next to your residence.
  • Ask a local. Locals are a great source of recommendations.
  • Ensure you protect the owner (and your things!) by keeping the property locked up when you are away, exactly like you would in your own home.

Check Out Time

  • Check to make sure you've packed all your possessions. Sweep every room in the home for forgotten possessions. Inspect bath rooms, the garage, kitchen cupboards, patios, the pool area, and anywhere else your personal property might "hide".
  • Be sure to walk through the rental one final time and look for damages. If possible, do this walk-out inspection with the property manager present. If the property owner is not available, you'll want to take photos of the property to record its condition.
  • How would you feel about your stay? Most vacation rental management companies and rental websites permit customers to provide reviews. If the rental and/or property manager was top notch, they'll appreciate your compliments. If something went wrong, we advise being understanding but sincere with regards to stay. The best property owners and managers will work hard to fix the issue.

Learn from your Experience

Did everyone have a blast? Maybe everything turned out to be wonderful and you're ready to re-book the rental for next year. If the rental property wasn't perfect, and you will better know how to filter your search for the next trip.
