Sea Escape, 4 level Home in Atlantic Beach, NC. 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, family pets considered. Bed Configuration: 2Q, 1 Pyramid Bunk
Atlantic Beach is one of five distinctly appealing communities that make up Bogue Banks, part of the Southern Outer Banks. Each of these localities has its own look and feel, identity and vibe. When arriving on AB (as it’s locally known), the hospitality and good cheer are as welcoming and sweet as our southern iced tea! This spot seems like a throwback to bygone days, with the simple pleasures of the sand and surf, family and fun and relaxation on the docket.
Located a stone’s throw from The Circle, the heart of this town, this community is located in a ring around the neighborhood pool dotted with palm trees. The pale cotton candy colors of the homes in pink, blue, yellow and green delight the eyes— and the soul!
Inside, the feel is fresh and bright, cool and modern, with shades of sea glass mixed with white and pops of coral. The kitchen is cute and roomy, with a countertop bar and a table for four, for hanging out over pancakes and coffee or any meal you choose! The living space is generously huge, with comfortable seating and space to move around and mingle. There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms and balconies on each floor. The primary bedroom features high ceilings with tongue and groove detail and other touches, like barn doors, a walk-in tiled shower and a king bed. There are additional rooms with queen beds as well as a bunk with full on the bottom and twin on the top — plenty of room for all your friends, family and additional guests!
Hang out on the veranda and sip drinks to watch the sun dip down over the horizon while you wave to your friends as they take an evening dip in the pool! Stroll only a few blocks, and you can swim in the ocean, fish from the pier or dine at one of the many fine eateries. Be sure to shop for souvenirs, too, so you can share the joys of your trip and a bit of the nostalgia back home — But no worries if you forget…. you will surely be back again soon!

When to book a Beaufort, NC rental home & When to go:

  • Summer is the most expensive season in Atlantic Beach. Reserving a rental home in Fall or Spring months is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Beaufort, NC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • In the Beaufort, NC area, The earlier your group can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation homes are booked early. • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Property managers usually offer customers an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Look for your local Beaufort, NC visitors guide magazine upon arrival. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitor guide magazines contain discounts for local tours and attractions.

Advice for a wonderful stay:

  • To make sure damages are not linked to your family's stay, make note of any problem areas during arrival. Contact the host immediately to document your findings. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, television set or coffee maker. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents a lot of difficulties.
  • Respect your neighbors. Often, nearby homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking policies reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Lock your rental home while you're out. Protect the owner's property and your things!
  • Double-check the property to make sure that you've packed everything at departure. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the property one final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest walking through with the host whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
