Strategies for getting the best vacation home experience:

When to book a Beaufort, NC rental & When to go:

  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summertime is high season in Atlantic Beach. To get the most suitable rental home within your budget, we suggest booking in Fall or Spring months. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at Beaufort, NC restaurants, beaches, and activities.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Often, property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Beaufort, NC area travel guides which will include coupons, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Selecting the best rental in the Beaufort, NC area:

  • To start, have your family choose trip dates and a max budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. SeaSpray 355, Oceanview Condo in Atlantic Beach, NC! has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is regularly accessible on booking pages. If they are not listed, contact the property management company before you book the vacation home. Note that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
  • Are you bringing the family pet? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your agreement! Additional fees or costs may be applied to your contract.
  • If there's a certain Beaufort, NC attraction you are enamored with, search for properties that are either nearby, or those that cater to your needs.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Make certain to ask about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.

During your stay:

  • We recommend storing the host's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Property managers are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Lock your vacation home while you're out and about. Protect your property!
  • To make sure that damages aren't attributed to your family's visit, record any problem areas upon your arrival. Get in touch with the rental manager right away to relay any damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome visitors bothering your peace and quiet. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and places you would have not otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the rental to make sure you've collected all belongings. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, take photos of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a excellent time? Most rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your property and/or property management company was great, they would love to hear about it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
