About this Property

  • Sleeps 8
  • 3 Bedrooms
  • 2 Bathrooms
  • Condo
  • Approximately 1140 square feet

From the front door of our condo, you are steps away from putting your toes on the beach! Our impressive, newly remodeled 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath condo offers modern beach touches and the amenities of home. This second-floor unit directly faces the ocean and has striking vistas of the Crystal Coast. Savor a morning cup of coffee on either of the two balconies with charming vistas of the beach!

Upon your arrival at Dunescape Villas, you will find bags carts and grocery shopping carts as well as an elevator to make moving into your home away from home simple and fast. There is a screened-in entry way / mud room in the front and a separate laundry room that has a full-size washer and dryer. The condo itself was newly modernized and freshly decorated. It features luxury plank floor throughout, entirely-equipped kitchen, separate wet bar with drink refrigerator, oceanfront screen porch off the living room, and a separate oceanfront balcony off of the master bedroom.

The master bedroom has a king size bed with an en suite bath with shower. The 2nd bedroom has a twin bunkbed and a full bed and is next to a full bath with tub; there is also a modest workspace/desk area in this bedroom if you are so inclined. The 3rd bedroom has a queen bed and its own private half bath. There are TVs in all three bedrooms.

The kitchen has all new appliances including French-door refrigerator, dishwasher, and over-the-range microwave and is equipped for all your cooking needs. There is a new Keurig K-Duo Coffee Maker, which accepts single serve K-cups and can also brew drip coffee with a 12-cup carafe.

The living room has a 50” Samsung Intelligent TV with constructed-in Alexa. There is a screened-in porch off of the living room with seating overlooking the dunes, boarded walkway to the beach and, of course, the ocean.

Throughout the complex, there are multiple picnic areas with tables and charcoal grilles; you will need to provide your own charcoal. There are four swimming pools and numerous private beach access points with gazebos overlooking the beach. To use the pools, a release form must be signed prior to check-in.

All of the buildings at Dunescape Villas have parking tons near the unit. If additional parking is needed, there is overflow parking across the street. 2 parking passes included for parking at unit.

Bed linens, bath towels, and bath mats are not supplied. All beds have pillows and bed spreads. There are linen service companies in the area should you need this type of service.

Spring break weeks, mid-May to mid-September: 7 nighttime minimum weekly units, Sunday to Sunday. Other times of the year, 3 nighttime minimum with flexible check-in/out dates.

Self check-in and self check-out.

This is a no smoking property. No smoking around the pool, elevators, second floor common areas.

Renters must park in the designated spaces in front of the building, not under the buildings.

We would savor if guests would remove shoes at the front door. Sand from the beach lingers on shoes. Please do not rinse out sandy swimsuits in the unit as this could cause damage to the plumbing for the entire building. There are shower-off areas with hoses by the pool and beach access points that can be used for hosing off sandy items.

Safety First!! Ocean: Please look at the warning signs/flags out at the beach. If you see red flags, that means NO SWIMMING.

Can you put a tent on the beach? Modest tents/canopies are allowed on our beaches, supplied they are properly secured (tents over 200 ft & canopies over 400 ft need a permit). However, we strongly recommend that these structures are not left up overnight. Objects left on the beach overnight may interfere with nesting sea turtles and their hatchlings, and they also have a tendency to go missing when they are left unattended. In order to keep your visit safe and fun, we suggest that any structures be removed from the beach at nighttime.

Property is equipped with an external security camera at the entrance to our condo facing the entryway door.

Damages to property will be the responsibility of the guest.

The Area
Directly across the street you have condo access to a pier and day-dock to keep your boat on the Bogue Sound as well as park your trailer. If you bring your boat, there is a public boat launch one mile away. The condo is located less than 2 miles to “The Circle” with multiple bar and restaurant options. Known as the main “Town Beach” and located in the heart of the busy Atlantic Beach community, The Circle offers a myriad of ways to stay entertained, both on and off the sand. The condo is also a short drive to historic Fort Macon and the NC Aquarium. Just a short drive back across the bridge, the cozy towns of Morehead City and Beaufort offer stores and multiple dining options as well as water excursions and tours to Cape Lookout, Shackleford Banks, and Harkers Island.

About the Area

Tips and Tricks to get the perfect vacation rental experience:

Get the best rental home value:

  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. Booking your vacation home in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is our best tip for saving money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Beaufort, NC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Property managers frequently offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Many property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Beaufort, NC area visitors guide magazines which often include coupons, either offered independently by local companies, or through a partnership between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Make a plan and choose your prefect Beaufort, NC vacation home:

  • Select dates and max budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the bed configuration your family needs. Shore Beats Work! Direct Oceanfront Atlantic Beach Paradise has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is generally accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, call the property manager before reserving your rental. Note that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull out couches in living rooms.
  • Do your family pets travel with you? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask the property manager before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional fees or could be applied to your agreement.
  • Visiting for a single event? Try a map search to find nearby properties.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before booking

Additional considerations:

  • Review arrival and departure procedures before leaving home. Save the instructions to your phone, and take a printed copy.
  • Hosts are there to help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
  • Keep your rental home locked while you are gone! Don't let burglars ruin your trip.
  • Upon check-in, record any issues with the rental property and immediately contact the host. Record all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant visitors disrupting your life at home. Apply the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and scenic spots you would've not otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Re-check every room of the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all of your family's items at check-out. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Please make sure to walk through the rental a final time and look for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, remember to take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Hosts rely on excellent ratings to propel more reservations. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will will be grateful for your feedback find their best rental home. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.
