About this Property

  • Private vacation home

2024 season now open!!! Stunning ocean vistas. Upscale luxury in a beach home with expansive seascape vistas. This oceanfront bungalow has been floor-to-ceiling refreshed with an modren modern coastal vibe that was designed by Susie to keep all different styles of visitors in mind.

The beach home is completely private. And we are located well away from the hordes -- often the beach is completely empty in front of the home, accepting complete enjoyment of the white sandy beaches.

Clean lines and bespoke furnishings let the impressive 180-degree ocean vistas do all the talking. Two sets of sliding double doors open up to a sizable sunbathing deck with plenty of furnishings to savor the ocean breeze (and tan without the sand), while sipping your favorite drink.

Outdoor dining for two is also recommended if you like romance, as you have an unobstructed view of over 2 miles of coastline (great for taking vacation pics).

For your convenience, we boast the shortest walk to the sand you can buy on the island if you feel like walking down to the beach to check on your family. But where Susie's Hideaway East really shines is when you wake up from a vacation siesta to the unbeatable vistas of the sand and ocean from our bespoke-made napping couch.

Linens and towels are supplied. Also we are only 5 mins. on a walking path from a wine store, grocery stores, and eateries.

Susie's Hideaway East features all new kitchen with granite countertops, new appliances, new floor, new linens, ceiling fans, dishwasher, washer/dryer, 4 flat screen TVs, and wireless high-speed Internet access.

Susie's Hideaway is a duplex (with two sides, East and West). This listing is for the East side. It is completely private -- there are no shared or common areas. And we are located well away from the hordes -- often the beach is completely empty in front of the home, accepting complete enjoyment of the white sandy beaches!

Linens and towels are supplied.
Rents Saturday-to-Saturday only in the summer (June to August).

Hosts: Susie & William

Tips for getting the perfect Beaufort, NC vacation rental experience:

Find your perfect vacation home:

  • The sooner you can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best properties are reserved very early. Booking your vacation rental 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental home.
  • Summertime is the most expensive season in the Beaufort, NC area. Booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is one of our best tips for saving money on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable properties.
  • Some property managers offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if rate reductions are available for your family.
  • Property management companies frequently offer renters an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
  • Find a copy of your local Beaufort, NC visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great information, travel guide magazines contain discounts for local tours and attractions.

How to select the best rental in the Beaufort, NC area:

  • To start, have your group agree to date ranges and a spending budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your family requires. Upscale Oceanfront, with Panoramic Views has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Beaufort, NC rentals search.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is often available on booking websites. If not, email or call the host before you book the vacation property. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds in living rooms. You'll need to work out what is optimal for your vacation.
  • Some properties allow pets, and some don't. Allowable types of family pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added costs may apply. Ask the property management company about pet restrictions before booking.
  • Does your family require unique amenities? Most websites include search filters for amenities.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. .

Have a great stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and save the instructions to your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, elevator or coffee maker. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents a lot of issues.
  • Keep your rental home locked while you are away! Don't let crooks spoil your trip.
  • Upon arrival, record any issues with the rental property and immediately contact the property manager. Keep records of all coorespondence.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a terrific resource to find the best local beaches and restaurants.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can often help. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Just prior to departing, take a walk-through to confirm you didn't forget anything. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your group have a excellent vacation? Most rental websites make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or host was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was amiss and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
