After booking, guests are required to complete a simple rental agreement through Away by the Sea. The agreement outlines home rules, property details, and local requirements to help ensure a smooth and delightful stay.

House Rules

• Keep it comfortable, not crazy! We ask that there be no events or huge gatherings to ensure a peaceful stay for everybody.

• Quiet time is 11pm to 9am — please help us keep things relaxing for our neighbors.

• Please let us know right away if anything is amiss so we can get it handled for you quickly. Text is best!

• Furry friends are welcome, but please keep family pets off the furnishings so we can maintain a fresh, clean space for all guests.

• Backyard etiquette: Kindly clean up after your pet so the outdoor space stays fun for everybody.

• Towel Care: Please do not use the white bath towels, hand towels, or washcloths to remove makeup, self-tanner, hair dye, or clean up spills or messes. Black makeup towels are supplied specifically for makeup removal. Damaged or permanently stained towels may result in replacement charges.

• Grille Use: You’re welcome to savor the grille during your stay! Please leave it in the same condition you found it—cleaned and brushed after use. A $25 cleaning fee may be applied if additional cleaning is required.

• A $200 security deposit is required for Vrbo and direct bookings only. This amount is held on the guest’s credit card until checkout and will only be charged if damages are found after departure.

• Starter kit supplied with essential items for your arrival.
