How to book the best Beaufort, NC vacation property experience:

Finding your perfect rental home:

  • Summertime is high season in the Beaufort, NC area. To get the best vacation home for your budget, we recommend reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season.
  • In the Beaufort, NC area, The earlier you can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable properties are booked very early. Reserving your vacation rental up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
  • Hosts sometimes offer discounts for veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Property management companies frequently offer customers an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Often, management companies and vacation rental houses supply Beaufort, NC area visitor guides which include money-saving offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Beaufort, NC visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

How to choose and book the rightrental:

  • Select a designated group leader, choose your dates, and select a max budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the configuration your family requires. Wide, Sandy Beaches Await You! has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Beaufort, NC vacation rental search.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed types is normally accessible online. Otherwise, call the property manager before reserving the rental. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull out couches in living rooms. You will need to work out what configuration is best for your vacation family.
  • If there's an individual Beaufort, NC attraction you love, keep an eye out for rentals that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, you'll need to find a pet-friendly property. Request details on breed, weight, and type requirements. Be aware that some property managers require additional pet deposits and fees.

More considerations:

  • Get the property manager's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental home.
  • To make sure that damages aren't linked to your family's stay, note any problem areas upon your arrival. Contact the rental manager immediately to report any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Hosts are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask questions during your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious visitors disrupting your peaceful home life. Employ the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and places you would have not otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can typically help. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Lock your rental property while you are gone! Don't let thieves spoil your family vacation.
  • Double-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed all personal items at departure. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Hosts rely on excellent ratings to inspire new bookings. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will appreciate that you share your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
