Atlantic Beach rental property booking tips:

Get the most from your rental home budget:

  • Booking in Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Beaufort, NC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your family qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Booking websites often offer guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Often, rental management companies supply Beaufort, NC area visitors guide magazines that include special offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a partnership between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Beaufort, NC visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

How to select the perfect vacation home in Atlantic Beach:

  • Start by having your group decide on dates and a max budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the configuration your group needs. 1-Minute Walk to Beach, Half Duplex, Bright & New! has 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is almost always accessible online. Otherwise, email the property management company before you book the vacation property. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches.
  • If there's a particular Beaufort, NC destination you are enamored with, search for homes that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all required amenities are included before reserving a rental.
  • If your family is bringing pets, search for a pet-friendly property. Ask for information on breed, size, and type requirements. Be aware that some property managers require additional pet deposits and fees.

More tips for your stay:

  • Take a copy of the owner's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your rental home. Put the host's contact information in your smartphone.
  • To make certain damages aren't attributed to your visit, inspect the property for any problem areas upon check in. text the host right away to report any damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Hosts are great sources of help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often an incredible resource to find the best local beaches and hangouts.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you are away! Don't let crooks ruin your holiday.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the property to reconfirm you've collected all personal items. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the property one final time and look for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, remember to take photographs of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a wonderful vacation? Many rental management companies make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property management company was great, they would love to hear it. If anything was amiss and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
