Tips to get the very best vacation rental experience:

Sticking to a rental home budget:

  • Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer months are high season in the Beaufort, NC area. Reserve your vacation home in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to enjoy beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
  • Property managers usually offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for details.
  • Find a copy of your local Beaufort, NC visitors guide magazine when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitors guides have money saving offers on local accommodations and attractions.

Filter your search:

  • Choose a designated group leader, select your vacation week, and select a maximum budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. Double Queen-Unit 102 has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed types is regularly accessible on booking pages. If not, contact the property owner before you reserve the home. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds. You'll need to establish what configuration is suitable for your family.
  • Some rentals allow pets, and others don't. Allowable types of pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask the property manager about your furry family members before booking.
  • If there's an individual Beaufort, NC destination you simply love, search for homes that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before booking

Tips for your stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Save the directions to your smartphone, and take a printed copy.
  • Hosts are there to help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Ensure you protect the owner (and your things!) by locking the rental when you are out, just like you would at home.
  • To make certain that no damages are attributed to your visit, make a record of any problem areas upon check in. Get in touch with the rental manager immediately to record any issues. If there is a dispute, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful visitors disrupting your quiet neighborhood. Use the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and places you would have never otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • At departure, take a walk-through to make sure you have not forget any personal items. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the property a final time and scan for any damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the host is not available, ensure that you take photographs of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a great time? Many rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or host was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was defective and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
