Spectacular five bedroom, five and one-half bath with broad sound vistas. The 4th floor has a additional room as well as king bedroom and bath. The vistas are fantastic! The 3rd floor has 3 bedrooms (king, queen, twin) and 3 baths. The 2nd floor has a living room, dining room and kitchen with counter seating. There is a porch and deck off this space for bird watching and looking at spectacular sunsets! There is also a king bedroom with sounds vistas and a enormous bath as well as a half bath on this floor. The first floor has a two car garage and also a fenced in back yard with an enclosed shower. There is also an elevator. There are many reasons you may be content to stay inside but also have great options to get outside and appreciate everything Cottages at Bay Ridge in Atlantic Beach has to offer. There is a boardwalk (roughly one-third mile) which leads to a covered gazebo on our private island on the sound. Fishing, crabbing, paddle boarding, or picnicking are all possibilities while appreciating the outdoor beauty. You are in walking distance to shopping, pool, beach, eateries, bars and grocery store.

Tips and Tricks to get the best rental home experience:

Getting the best rental value:

  • June, July, and August are high season in the Beaufort, NC area. Reserve your Beaufort, NC rental property in the Spring or Fall to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Beaufort, NC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some hosts offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer their guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Look for your local Beaufort, NC visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, travel guide magazines have discounts for nearby restaurants, attractions, and tours.

Planning, selecting, and booking the best Beaufort, NC rental home:

  • Begin by selecting the best vacation week and a maximum budget.
  • Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. Beautiful 5 bedrooms, 5.5 baths on sound and walking distance to beach and shops has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Beaufort, NC vacation rental search.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed counts is almost always accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, email or call the property manager before you reserve the rental. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
  • If there's a specific Beaufort, NC destination you simply love, keep an eye out for rentals that are either near by, or those that cater to your requirements.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
  • If your family is traveling with pets, search for a rental that allows animals. Ask for information on breed, size, and type requirements. Often, hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.

Considerations for your stay:

  • Put the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • To make sure no damages are attributed to your family's stay, make note of any problem areas when you arrive. E-mail the property manager immediately to record any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, stereo or kitchen appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent quite a few concerns.
  • Respect your neighbors. Often, nearby homes are filled by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can typically help. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Lock your vacation home while you're out. Protect the owner's property and your things!
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all of your things. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Hosts rely on good reviews to inspire new bookings. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationers will will be grateful for your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to solve it.
