Booking the best Atlantic Beach vacation home experience:

Finding your perfect rental home:

  • Book your Beaufort, NC rental in Fall or Spring to get the benefit of warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer.
  • In the Beaufort, NC area, The sooner you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The best rental properties are booked very early. Reserving your vacation rental 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
  • Owners sometimes offer rate reductions for veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
  • Property managers frequently offer renters an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.
  • Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Beaufort, NC area visitor guide magazines which will include special deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Beaufort, NC area magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

  • Note the number beds and the configuration your group needs. Light-filled condo with 3-level deck, Ping-Pong & beach around the corner has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Beaufort, NC vacation rental search.

  • Hosts are great sources of help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
  • Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Frequently, surrounding homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Lock your vacation home while you are away. Protect the owner's property and your things!
  • Upon check-out, take a final walk-through to make sure you have not leave anything behind. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did you have a terrific stay? Most rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or host was fantastic, they would love to hear it. If anything was defective and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
