North Carolina Maritime Museum and Core Sound Waterfowl Museum and Heritage Center are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at North River Golf Course and Jarrett Bay Marine Industrial Park. Mount Maker Charters and North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores are also worth visiting. Spend some time exploring the area's activities, including fishing, birdwatching, and golfing.
