The property directly next door is an active oyster farm that operates between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, and occasionally on weekends. While activity is generally minimal and respectful, guests may notice light noise or boat movement during operating hours.

Guests are welcome to purchase fresh local oysters from the farm next door — please inquire for additional details on availability and purchase process.
⚠️ Important Waterfront Safety Disclaimer

This property is located directly on the North River waterfront and features a retaining wall along the creek bank. For your safety and enjoyment, please review the following important notes before and during your stay:

Guests are stringently advised not to cross the retaining wall at any time.

During high tide or storms, water may rise up to the retaining wall, but it has never exceeded the fire pit area shown in listing photos.

There is no fence or raised barrier between the property’s edge and the water. Guests are required to closely supervise all kids under 18 years old and any family pets at all times when outdoors.

Swimming or wading in the water is not allowed. The riverbed contains active oyster beds and sharp shells, which can cause serious injury if stepped on.

Guests should also avoid entering the water by foot or attempting to launch any watercraft from the shoreline.

By booking your stay, guests acknowledge that they understand and agree to follow all waterfront safety guidelines while on the property.

This property features a private outdoor hot tub that uses the FROG® Chemical System, which is designed to help automatically maintain water balance and sanitation. While this system assists in regulating chemical levels, it does not guarantee that the hot tub is ideally balanced at all times.

Our team inspects and services the hot tub after each guest stay to ensure clean and proper operation. However, because factors such as weather, frequency of use, and guest product residue (lotions, oils, soaps, etc.) can affect the water quality, guests are strongly encouraged to use the supplied pH test strips to check chemical levels before entering the hot tub.

If the water appears cloudy, has an unusual odor, or shows imbalanced results on the test strip, guests should avoid using the hot tub and contact the host immediately for assistance.

By choosing to use the hot tub, you acknowledge that it carries inherent risks, including but not limited to slipping, falling, drowning, overheating, dehydration, chemical sensitivities, and health complications related to heat exposure.

You agree that you are solely responsible for your own safety and the safety of all members of your group, including kids and any invited guests.
