Strategies to get the best Beaufort, NC vacation property experience:

Money saving strategies:

  • To get the best value, shift your group's vacation dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer warm weather, , and reduced traffic.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Hosts sometimes offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Booking websites frequently offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Look for your local Beaufort, NC visitors guide magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitors guides contain discounts for local restaurants, attractions, and tours.
