Full of the classic charms of North Carolina's Crystal Coast, this adorable bungalow brings breezy comfort to any Beaufort escape. This is a place to spend your days sipping coffee on the front porch swing, strolling downtown, and calming at sunset in the roomy and enclosed yard. This bungalow features a fenced piece of property across the road from Taylor Creek, about three-quarters of a mile from historic downtown Beaufort. You'll be within walking distance of the Island Express Ferry Service, the North Carolina Maritime Museum, the Beaufort Historic Site, and a variety of stores and eateries. Public beach access on Radio Island (less than four miles), Atlantic Beach (eight miles), and Fort Macon State Park (10 miles) are close by as well.

Constructed in 1945, the home is bright and inviting, offering generous windows, hand-painted coastal-themed artwork, and thoughtful updates throughout. Highlights include a polished kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a formal dining room, and a living room where you can curl up with a good movie or a book from the shelves. After a day at the beach, come home to toss your swimsuits in the washer/dryer, relax in central air conditioning, or linger outside on the porch with appetizers and cold drinks.

Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your family qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Booking websites frequently offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses.
