In addition, Beachy Keen has a second refrigerator in the garage to help with grocery overflow, and a gas grille for the outdoor cooks.

Beachy Keen rents by the week (Sunday to Sunday) from Memorial Day to Labor Day. For the months of October through April a minimum stay of three nights is required. May and September have a 4 day minimum. A full linen service is supplied, and beds will be made and ready for you to enjoy.

Booking your vacation rental six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
  • Summer months are the most expensive season along the coast of NC. To get the best value, consider changing your group's vacation dates to the Spring or Fall months. Advice for your stay:

  • Add the property manager's contact info to your phone. Take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.

  • Lock your rental home while you are away. Protect your property!
  • Upon check-in, record any damages to the rental property and immediately alert the host. Keep records of all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are a fantastic resource to find the best local beaches and restaurants.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Just before checking out, take a walk-through to make sure you did not forget any personal items. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your group have a wonderful time? Most rental managers make it easy for clients to provide reviews. If your property and/or host was great, they would love to hear it. If anything was out of order and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
