How to get the best Beaufort, NC rental home experience:

How to get the best value:

  • Summer months are the most expensive season in coastal NC. Book your rental home in Spring or Fall to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season.
  • Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Property managers sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
  • Property management companies usually offer their guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for additional information.
  • Often, rental management companies supply Beaufort, NC area travel guides which include special deals, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Beaufort, NC area magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Planning, selecting, and booking your prefect Beaufort, NC rental home:

  • Choose a designated group leader, select your vacation week, and select a max budget.
  • Determine how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. NEW Look-Luxury Oceanfront Home in Dolphin Ridge W\/ Pool & Hot Tub????Epic Views has 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is commonly accessible on booking websites. Otherwise, reach out to the property manager before booking the property. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches.
  • Are you looking for unique amenities? Most rental websites include search filters for amenities. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Make certain to ask about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, you'll need to book a pet-friendly property. Get information on breed, size, and type requirements. Some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.

More tips for your stay:

  • Add the host's contact information to your smartphone. Print and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • To ensure that damages are not linked to your family's stay, inspect for any problem areas when you arrive. Call the property manager right away to report any issues. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, elevator or coffee maker. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents a lot of problems.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are often a great source for finding the best local beaches and restaurants.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can typically help. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Lock your rental home while you're out. Protect the owner's property and your things!
  • Re-check the vacation property to make sure that you've packed everything at check-out. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property a final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, ensure that you take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property owners rely on excellent ratings to propel new reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationing families will will be grateful for your feedback find their best rental home. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
