Tips and Tricks to get the perfect Beaufort, NC rental experience:

When to visit & When to reserve a rental home:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Beaufort, NC area. Booking your Beaufort, NC vacation rental in the Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable properties.
  • In the Beaufort, NC area, The sooner you can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked early. Booking your rental 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Property management companies frequently offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for details.
  • Look for your local visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local stories, visitors guides contain offers and deals for nearby shops and restaurants.

Use filters to search efficiently:

  • Start by selecting your potential vacation weeks and a maximum budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration you need. NEW Look-Luxury Oceanfront Home in Dolphin Ridge W/ Pool & Hot Tub????Epic Views has 7 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed types is usually accessible on booking pages. If they are not listed, email or call the property owner before booking the vacation home. Note that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to establish what configuration is suitable for your group.
  • Visiting for a single attraction? If so, use a map search to browse nearby rentals.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking.
  • Remember to include your furry companions! Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional fees or charges applied to your contract.

Have a fantastic stay:

  • Store the manager's contact information in your smartphone.
  • To make certain no damages are attributed to your family's stay, inspect the rental for any problem areas during arrival. message the host right away to report any issues. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Property managers are there to help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You'll magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are a fantastic resource to find the best local beaches.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can typically help. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Lock your rental property while you're away! Don't let thieves ruin your family vacation.
  • Re-check every room of the property to confirm that you've packed everything on check-out day. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, take video and pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property owners rely on good ratings to drive new bookings. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.
