How to book the best Pine Knoll Shores rental experience:

How to get the best rental home value:

  • Summer time is high season in the Beaufort, NC area. To book the most suitable vacation home within your budget, we highly recommend booking in Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at popular Beaufort, NC attractions and restaurants.
  • Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Property managers usually offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for additional information.
  • Find a copy of your local visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitors guide magazines have deals for nearby tours, shops, and attractions.

Make a plan and choose the right Beaufort, NC rental home:

  • Select a group lead, choose your trip dates, and select a maximum budget.
  • Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. Luxury Oceanfront Home with Pool, Elevator, Theater, and Chef's Kitchen has 7 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is regularly available on booking websites. If they are not listed, contact the property manager before you book the vacation property. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds in living rooms.
  • Looking for unique amenities? Most rental websites include search filters for amenities. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Make certain to ask about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
  • If your family is traveling with pets, you'll need to find a rental that allows animals. Ask for details on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Usually, hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.

Considerations for your stay:

  • Take a copy of the owner's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental.
  • To make sure that no damages are linked to your family's visit, make a record of any problem areas during check in. Make contact with the host right away to relay any issues. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Property managers are available to help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable visitors bothering your home life. Employ the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and attractions you would have not otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Lock your rental property while you're out! Don't let burglars ruin your holiday.
  • Just before checking out, take a walk-through to confirm you have not forget anything. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your group have a wonderful stay? Many rental management companies make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your property and/or host was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was amiss and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
