Beaufort rental home tips and tricks:

How to get the best rental value:

  • To find the best rental home within your budget, we suggest reserving in Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at Beaufort, NC restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Beaufort, NC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer vacations during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Hosts sometimes offer rate reductions for veterans. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Booking websites usually offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.
  • Many property management companies supply Beaufort, NC area visitors guide magazines which will include special deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Beaufort, NC area magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Selecting and booking your prefectrental:

  • Choose a designated group leader, select your vacation dates, and choose a maximum budget.
  • Determine how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. Upscale Bungalow - 129 Craven Street\n300 feet from Beaufort Waterfront has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed types is often accessible online. If they are not listed, contact the property owner before you book the property. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds. You will need to work out what is right for your group.
  • Are you visiting for a specific attraction or event? If so, use a map search to browse nearby rentals.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all required amenities are included before booking
  • If your group is traveling with pets, you must book a rental that allows animals. Make sure to ask for specifics on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Be aware that some property owners charge additional pet fees.

Advice for a wonderful stay:

  • Store the manager's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Document any issues with the property upon arrival, and immediately send them to the property manager. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be beneficial if damages are assessed.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, intercom or washer/dryer. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent many difficulties.
  • Respect the neighborhood. Often times, nearby homes are filled by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking regulations reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home when you are away, just like you would back home.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the property to confirm you've collected all personal belongings. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property managers rely on great ratings to compel new reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
